## What Santa Wishlist does

When your kid points at a toy and says "I want that!", you snap a photo or type a line. Santa writes back in character within seconds, and the elves save the item to a gift list locked behind your PIN or Face ID. Santa's replies are generated by AI and reviewed by automated safety filters. See [how it works](/how-it-works) and [safety](/safety) for the details.

## What Santa Wishlist does not do

- Text and photo only. There are no voice calls or video calls with Santa.
- It is not a Santa tracker and not an office secret santa tool.
- It runs in the iPhone and Android apps. There is no web chat and no web checkout.
- English only for now.

## FAQ

### What is Santa Wishlist?

Santa Wishlist is a parent app for iPhone and Android. Your kid says "I want that!" in a store, you snap a photo or type a message, Santa texts back in seconds, and a private gift list that only you can open fills itself.

### Who makes Santa Wishlist?

Enzak LLC makes it. The founder is Joey Bolohan, an Orange County dad. [Read more about Joey](/authors/joey-bolohan).

### What does it cost?

Your first 10 messages are free. After that you can buy a pack of Candy Canes (from $2.99) or the Whole Season Pass ($19.99) for 1,200 messages to use any time until Dec 31. One pass covers the whole family. A text counts as 1 and a photo counts as 2. No auto-renewing subscriptions. Nothing renews.

### Is Santa Wishlist safe for my child?

Santa Wishlist is built so the parent stays in control. You hold the phone, so your child never chats alone. There is no open chat and no strangers, and every message is checked in both directions by automated safety filters before it is shown. No ads, either.

### Can my partner or the grandparents use Santa Wishlist too?

Yes. The account owner can invite co-parents and grandparents, up to 4 people in all (see [how to invite](/features#family-sharing)). Each person signs in with their own login and Parent PIN and sees the same kids, chats and gift list. The family shares one Candy Cane balance and one Season Pass. Only the owner can delete the family account.
