## What things cost

You get 10 Candy Canes free when you sign up, which covers 10 text messages or a mix with photos. Here is what each action costs.

## How Candy Canes work

Candy Canes are the in-app currency. A text uses one cane and a photo uses two. Buy a pack when you need more. Your gift lists and chats are never deleted if you run low. Only sending new messages is paused until you add canes.

## The Whole Season Pass

The Whole Season Pass is $19.99 once. It gives your whole family 1,200 messages to use any time until Dec 31. A text counts as 1 and a photo counts as 2. If the 1,200 are ever used up, the family keeps chatting with Candy Canes, like everyone else. It is a one time purchase that does not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel and no surprise charge in January.

Buy it on your phone through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds for store purchases follow the store's own policy.

### What are Candy Canes?

Candy Canes are the in-app currency. A text message uses 1 cane and a photo message uses 2. They have no cash value and only work inside Santa Wishlist. If a reply fails or is blocked by the safety filters, you are not charged.

### Can my partner or the grandparents use Santa Wishlist too?

Yes. The account owner can invite co-parents and grandparents, up to 4 people in all (see [how to invite](/features#family-sharing)). Each person signs in with their own login and Parent PIN and sees the same kids, chats and gift list. The family shares one Candy Cane balance and one Season Pass. Only the owner can delete the family account.

### What happens to my list if I run out of Candy Canes?

Nothing. Your lists, photos and chats stay, whatever your balance is. Only sending new messages is paused until you add canes.

### How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?

Sign in with the same account, open the Candy Cane shop and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account, so use the same one you bought with.

### Can I delete my account?

Yes, anytime. Open Settings in the app and choose Delete account. That removes your kid profiles, chats, photos and gift lists. [Here is how it works](/delete-account).
