Santa waving hello

Three things to know

Built for the moment you are standing in the aisle

No new habit to learn. If you can take a photo and press send, you can use it. See how it works.

  1. Magic in the aisle

Ten seconds, one hand. Snap a photo or type a line, and Santa writes back while your kid is still staring at the shelf.

  2. The list is for your eyes only

Every item lands on a private gift list with the photo, name and price. It opens only with your PIN or Face ID, so a curious kid with your phone sees Santa, never the list.

  3. Safe: parent holds the phone, every message checked

You hold the phone. There is no open chat and no strangers. Every message is checked in both directions by automated filters before it is shown.

How it works

Three steps. About ten seconds.

One hand on the phone, one hand on the cart.

  1. 1

    Add your kid

A name and an age help Santa, but you can skip them. Each kid gets their own Santa chat.

  2. 2

    Snap or type

Take a photo of the toy or type what your kid said. Santa and his elves write back in seconds.

  3. 3

    Open your secret list

When it is time to shop, unlock the list with your PIN or Face ID. Everything your kid showed Santa is there.

The secret list

Questions parents ask

Need more? Visit support.

Is Santa Wishlist safe for my child?

Santa Wishlist is built so the parent stays in control. You hold the phone, so your child never chats alone. There is no open chat and no strangers, and every message is checked in both directions by automated safety filters before it is shown. No ads, either.

Is Santa a real person or AI?

Santa's replies are generated by AI and reviewed by automated safety filters. Santa Wishlist is operated by parents, for parents, and is intended for use by adults with their children.

Who can see the gift list?

Only you. The list is locked behind your PIN or Face ID. A curious kid who grabs your phone sees the Santa chat, never the list.

Will Santa promise my child a gift?

No. Santa never promises that a child will receive an item. He says things like "the elves are taking a look" or "I have made a note." You decide what gets bought.

What does it cost?

Your first 10 messages are free. After that you can buy a pack of Candy Canes (from $2.99) or the Whole Season Pass ($14.99) for up to 50 messages a day until Dec 31 (1,200 for the whole season). No auto-renewing subscriptions. Nothing renews.

Does my child need an account?

No. You make the one account, as the parent. Your child's name and age are optional, you are the one who enters them, and they are only used to make Santa's replies feel personal.

What happens to the photos I send?

Photos stay private. They are stored so Santa can reply and so the item can appear on your list, and they are deleted when you delete your account.

Can Santa call my child, or can we video chat?

No. Santa Wishlist is text and photo only. It is also not a Santa tracker. It is a way to answer "I want THAT!" in the moment and keep a private list for you.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone and Android. Tap a store badge on this page when you are ready, or leave your email and we will tell you when it is live.
